Included for completeness but this isn’t a good description of modern detector structures.

Parameters:
  • u – spatial frequency coordinates (rad^-1)

  • v – spatial frequency coordinates (rad^-1)

  • alpha – carrier spectral diffusion coefficient (m^-1); note that IBSM Table 3-4 contains alpha values as a function of wavelength for silicon

  • ald – depletion layer width (m)

  • al0 – diffusion length (m)

  • f – focal length (m)
